Fatal error: Allowed memory size…

    I installed WP with php4 and when I upgrade to php5, I get the following error:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 901

    how can I solve it?
