• Clicked on the upgrade button in my dashboard, and it looked like it installed, then I went to my wp-admin url and got this error message instead of the login screen:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function cpm_wpmu_modify_path() in /home/milothe1/public_html/strip/wp-content/plugins/comicpress-manager/comicpress_manager_library.php on line 90

What the heck is that and what do I do now?

  • FTP into your site and rename the wp-content/plugins/comicpress-manager. This will deactivate that plugin and, hopefully, solve the problem.

    Hi,

From your provided error message it seems that comicpress-manager causing the problem so deactivate/remove this plugin and have a check with upgrade..

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

Do I then reinstall comicpress? or rename it back?

No – otherwise you’ll just get the error back again. You’ll have to wait until the Comicpress plugin is upgraded.

What do I rename wp-content/plugins/comicpress-manger to?

    rename it comicpress_hold

I am getting the same problem. If I were to replace this entire folder with the folder I backed up prior to the upgrade, would the problem be fixed?

I got the exact same thing, and I did what MichealH said to do, since I couldn’t even log into my blasted thing! I had to change my password and EVERYTHING, since it didn’t want to let me in! Bleh.

However, when are we gonna be able to upload our comics again!? I want to be able to do that! HOW do I get my comicpress WORKING?!
