Fatal error after automatic update

    Hey all, im having a issue in which i beleive happened when wp auto updated now the site is only showing this line of code.

    Warning: require(/home/taxusa5/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/user/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 147

    Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/user/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/user/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 147

    has anyone seen this b4? it wont let me get to the admin at all.

    It sounds like the automatic update didn’t complete properly, and your site is missing a few files.

    The best remedy for this is to perform a manual update, and ensure that all of the files are FTP’d to the server (but not the wp-config.php file or the /wp-content folder).
