Fatal error adding images to page

    When I want to add an image to a page and click on “View Images” to pick an image from the media library, I get the following error message:

    Warning: dir(http://www.pangeabooks.net/wp-content/themes/shopperpress/thumbs/) [function.dir]: failed to open dir: not implemented in /home/walbooks/public_html/wp-content/themes/shopperpress/PPT/ajax/actions.php on line 886

    Fatal error: Call to a member function read() on a non-object in /home/walbooks/public_html/wp-content/themes/shopperpress/PPT/ajax/actions.php on line 887

    The media library has all the correct images and the url shown above for the image is correct.
