I was contacting freemius to ask if they already know the solution, and they indeed heared from the error before. They advised me to ask if you somehow migrated / cloned or replicated you WordPress website to a new host.

Yes, I have migrated the site from a multi-site WP installation (hard stuff in fact, thanks to WP Migrated Pro…).
I have installed the plugin-patch to clean Freemus DB tables, and the Gutenslider works like a charm.
