Fatal Error

    Hi,

    I tried to install the plugin but could not:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ppress/profilepress.php on line 79

    Maybe it is related to the previously mentioned problems related to this plugin. Don’t know, have not the time to test that out.

    I try it at another time…eventually ;

    Hi, apprently you are using a PHP version less than 5.3

    Upgrade and it should work perfectly.

    Hi, yes, that might be correct. Considering since a while updating the server.

    I am having this same issue of a fatal error on line 79. I am using PHP 5.3. Any other suggestions on how to fix this issue?

    Correction. It is working now. The update to 5.3 took longer to implement than anticipated.
