• All of a sudden, after a year and a half, my 2 WP blogs as well as a php forum and a php gallery have stopped working on my site. I have not changed anything at all… and I am the only person who has access to make any modifications to the site.

I contacted my host who looked at it and said that it was nothing they had changed either. But they tried to “fix” whatever the problem was and still it will not work.

At first, I would just get a blank screen. Now I get this fatal error message on one of my WP blog:

PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /hermes/web01b/b2162/pow.ft2garden/htdocs/sinfonian/wp-settings.php on line 216

    This is my website:

    http://www.ft2garden.com

Both of the WP blogs are not working, the forum (message board) is not working and the Gallery is not working. Problems started with all of them at the same time.

  • 1st – deactivate all plugins
if you can’t log in, ftp to site and rename plugins folder – this will deactivate them
if blog works now, activate one by one

    if not,
    delete .htaccess in wordpress root
    if works now, regenerate permalinks
    admin – settings – permalinks

if still doesn’t work use phpmyadmin to run a repair on your database tables
