• Hi

    I uploaded a WordPress Template and encountered error while attempting to open up my site. So I deleted the who file upload at my FTP site and went back to Fantastico to install a New WordPress. I got this message even though I deleted all files to create this new installation.

    “Install WordPress (2/3)
    The installation can not be completed:
    – You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.
    Click on the browser’s Back button to fix reported errors.”

    Anyone can advice what is the file that I need to remove to get out of this problem? Thanks.

  • Fantastico shows error ‘You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain’

    In order to solve this issue you should follow these steps:

    1. Log in cPanel and click on File Manager;

    2. Navigate to .fantasticodata in your Home Directory;

    3. Delete the file installed_in_root.php.

    This will ensure there is no Fantastico information remaining from previous installations.
