    Hello,

I write this email to you because i have a big problem. I use your very nice pop up builder to show a pop to my page.

I have to mention that pop up can’t be close until someone enter an email adress. The problem is that everybody can enter whatever they want on that field, even something like “asfadkd@gasdkasd.no” and is reconized as email adress.

What should i do to let only the real email adress acces my content?

Also, in this case i deleted that email from All Subscribers list, thinking that person ,must enter again another email to acces the content. But i made a test and after i delete some email from All subscriber list, the pop up still not appear for that person who is deleted.

Please help me with that! Thank you so much, and i’m waiting for your answer!

  • Dear @afganu ,

Thanks for getting in touch ane reporting a problem.
See, our email validator is working like this: if the inserted text is the same structure as the email address, it accepts it as a valid email address.
Also, when someone subscribes to your popup, the exact cookie is generated browser wide which means that the same user can enter a website with incognito mode and again subscribe to it with another email.
In our upcoming updates, the issue with non-real emails can be fixed, but it will enlarge the size of your plugin, so there will need to include some library into your plugin because there are too many emails and you can never be sure which one is real.

But we will try to include that improvement into our upcoming update.
    Thanks for your collaboration.
