I’m running Wordfence 6.0.23 on a WordPress network hosted on a VPS. Apache/2.4.10 (Debian), PHP Version 5.6.17-0+deb8u1.

I have enabled ‘Enable Wordfence Falcon Engine’ and the falcon image is displaying. I’ve also enabled ‘Message appears as an HTML comment below the closing HTML tag’.

I check in a separate browser and don’t see the HTML debug info, so I run a wget from another server and load the HTML in a text editor. There isn’t any Wordfence debug info in the returned HTML.

Basic Caching doesn’t seem to do anything either.

Try turning on “Disable config caching” near the bottom of the Wordfence options page. On some hosts, settings can get “stuck” in the cache, and this might be causing pages not to be saved in the cache. After changing the setting, you may need to turn off Falcon and turn it back on, for it to take effect.
