"Failure when receiving data from the peer"

    Having tried this plugin I have decided not to continue using it and deactivated it and removed it from my dashboard.

    However, when trying to now download other plugins I get this message “Failure when receiving data from the peer”

    Has BackWPup anything to do with this error? I had no issus prior to installing and then deleting this plugin.

    I’d appreciate some help if anyone has experience of this.
