You’re on GoDaddy. They’re well known for reliability problems. But also be sure your own ISP connection isn’t dropping out.
I am getting the same issue with my self hosted Yahoo blog. (not activated through Yahoo, but hosted through my Yahoo domain and website). I get the cannot connect to server several times but after pressing command-R and refreshing a couple of times it will load but not always completely. Many of the button images in the dashboard are the blue square with the question mark in it and sometimes the dashboard is just a list of links (there is no layout to the page). When we visit our blog it does not always load completely or we get the server error but others can view our blog with no issues. Any thoughts? I do not have much in terms of code skills, in fact I have none so when things stop working I am at a loss.
So should I contact godaddy and is there anything they can do about it?
Don’t be in a rush; we’re all volunteers here. First, be sure all other websites work from your PC and browser to eiminate problems your end. Then either contact godaddy or start a new thread here with GoDaddy in the subject line. They monitor the forums and tend to respond when people are unhappy with them.
Can anyone give me an idea of what to do> I keep getting “failure to connect” but only on one website, I have checked this as well on my lap top and once you try and load this page you receive the failure to connect message” If it was my internet connection, then wouldn’t I have problems on all websites? I am at a loss here.
