Failure in updating 3.5.1

I fail to proceed and complete the following step. And all my navigations in the website DOES NOT work!
“An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.”The notice keeps appearing for10 minutes without further actions, that means, the installation/ update CANNOT be completed.
Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.5.1-no-content.zip…What I mean is that the update NEVER completes.
