Failed to get SIDEBAR WIDGETS PLUGIN to work

Just uploading it to your server and activating the plugin doesn’t mean it’s usable. Your theme has to be made widget ready. If you read the “readme” file that comes with the plugin, it tells you exactly what to do. You have to create a functions.php file, put it in your theme folder, and have the “if widget sidebar activated” joy in there. Then you have to add the code into your sidebar.

It’s all right there in the files that came with the download.
