Failed log in attempts

I cannot log in to my Word Press account for my blog. It keeps saying “cannot log in due to too many failed password attempts” however I never had difficulty with my password. I tried to change my password and it wouldn’t acknowledge the new password either… I have not been able to access my blog at all. What do I do?
