Hi,
Same issue for me (on my 2 sites), the FB counter does not work anymore (I use /%postname%/ permalink structure).
Still at zero even if I have some likes on Facebook.
I didn’t change anything.
Regards,
Tamenori
I also am having the same problem. Twitter and LinkedIn shares are counted and displayed, but 2 days ago we lost all share counts for facebook on all of our posts. It now displays 0, when the actual number is much higher!
Any help would be appreciated!!
The same problem since a couple of days.
I’m having the same problem. Facebook count remains “0” though I’m confident there have been shares.
Please help!
I am also having the same problem, however I actually have 2166 shares on this post:

Is there something wrong with the getFacebookShareCount() function?
Hello. I solved this problem for me.
I had “?” char in the link and facebook didnt count my shares on page.
I changed my url’s and now the counter works .
Ty for plugin
I’m having the same problem. Everything works except Facebook (Twitter, Pinterest, etc.). This morning my last post had 5,000 shares. Now it has “0.” GRRRRRRR.
Same here. Facebook counter died 🙁
@lucasbisch How did you fix it if you don’t mind me asking…it’s driving me nuts.
I didn’t. I DL’d the 4.8 update and within 5 hours they were all back!
Uh oh. Lost it again. No more Facebook Shares. Had it until sent a new post live. Lost them all again!
I’m having the same problem. Facebook count remains “0”

I’m guessing this is something to do with the limit on the amount of requests your allowed to sending to graph.facebook.com without an api from the same server/ip, though I could be mistaken.
Plugin authors should integrate an option to allow you to put your api details in and thus you’ll increase the amount of requests (drastically) that you’re allowed to to send to facebook to return back the share values.
I had a similar problem here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-use-object-of-type-stdclass-as-array-2?replies=3
Hi all,
Please review the information on this page which should explain what’s going on, for Facebook at least. Further social share counts will be added if it becomes a requirement.
Thanks,
David
