  • in Debugger tool it should show your Intended image(s) under og:image. those will be shown to user as option. otherwise Facebook picks random images and display them.

so make sure your image appears under og:image and edit option in Yoast SEO plugin

For this link, http://bit.ly/1ITO4Hb it shows under the OG:Image but it won’t show it in the share. What should I edit in the plugin?

og:image was not defined, could not be downloaded or was not big enough. Please define a chosen image using the og:image metatag, and use an image that’s at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook. Image ‘http://vanityleague.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/indyjones.jpg-bradley-cooper-reboot-harrison-ford-not-impressed-250×140.jpg’ will be used instead.

The photo is larger than 200×200. All of our images are. 🙁

I think I have found the issue. I think this has started ever since we updated to WordPress 4.2.2. Could that be the case?

ISSUE HAS BEEN FOUND! For anyone that is also experiencing this issue, the easiest fix is: When you are doing your SEO stuff, click the Social tab and click “Upload Image.” Select your featured image again and it should be fixed. You only need to do this for posts published after the update hopefully.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you!

I was having the same problem and you solved it!

Using Seo Yoast you have to click “Upload Image” for a second time and then check again your link in Facebook debug.
