• Recently, something strange has been happening. On any particular day, the first post will publish to my facebook page without problems. Then, if there is a second, third, fourth post, etc., facebook merges the posts into a post saying that I’ve added X new posts to the album: Timeline Photos.

This is for a pet lost and found website, and we get multiple posts every day, so it’s making it very difficult for anyone to easily find their postings on our facebook page.

    Website is: helpmegethome.com
    Facebok is: facebook.com/helpmegethome

    Thanks in advance!

  • This is Facebook’s behavior and algorithm, and there is no way to overcome it through the API.
You could solve your problem by waiting the exact amount of time before uploading your photo otherwise photos will be grouped by albums.
    * on the timeline, after exactly 10 hours (need more than 2 photos),
    * on the news feed, after exactly 1 hour.
    Read more here :https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12785120/disable-grouping-of-photos-on-the-timeline
This issue exist only for albums, you can use share a link to your blog post or attach your blog post as posting method , it will attach the link with the post’s image as preview.
    Hope this helps.
    Thank you.
