    Hi Andi,

It might be some conflict with other plugin. You would like to try keeping only our plugin active just to check if this makes any difference.

Hi Heateor Support, I tried and it didn’t make a difference.
I’ll go through all the setup steps again and check if something is wrong. Though it did already work…
I’ll let you know about my progress! Stay tuned.

Hmmm, I double checked now and I am still having the problem.
I’ll continue debugging whenever I find the time today and let you know if I find the culprit.

    It works again!
Just out of pure frustration I added SSL via Lets Encrypt, changed the redirect URIs to https and enabled https in the OAuth settings on the facebook developers page.
This change fixed the problem for me. Did I miss something or do you have any idea why this makes the big difference?
Developer settings on facebook showed it as a warning (sure, https is good to have and I appreciate facebook pointing that out) but I didn’t expect that to break login.

I set the ticket to resolved now but if you have something to say about it please let me know here. I am curious about your thoughts on this.
If it was my fault: Sorry in advance and thank you so much for your efforts so far.

Usually, when SSL is the problem for Facebook login, it displays a clear message in social login popup. But it didn’t show any message when we tried Facebook login at your website first time.
According to new Facebook policies, it is mandatory to have SSL enabled at your website to get Facebook login working.
