If you’re referring to the permalink (URL) that is shown, that comes from whatever your permalink for the particular page/post you’re sharing is.
You can edit that – it appears just below the “Title” box on any page/post – if you don’t see it, click on the ‘screen options’ tab (upper right of your browser window) and be sure the checkbox for ‘permalink’ is ticked.
WordPress will take whatever you type in for the title and use it for the permalink, adding hyphens for the spaces and removing any punctuation, but you’re able to edit it as you like.
I would caution you however to be careful if you’re editing the permalink for older content that may have already been scanned and indexed by the search engines, or possibly bookmarked by site visitors as changing the permalink will result in 404 errors if someone uses the old permalink to find your content.
Thank you trishaM, great advise but I wasn’t talking about the permalink. I was talking about the thumbnail picture and the info unter the the thumbnail when you type a link of your page to share on facebook.
I did find an alternative way to fix it and that was through another SEO plugin that lets you control how your post appears when you share in on facebook. but sometimes it doesn’t work too although the right thumbnail picture is uploaded.
What i did afterwards is use the facebook debugging tool to try to find out the solution to the problem ( https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ ) what i get is that the picture size is above limit or that the server is too slow.
