Are you referring to the Facebook Like Box Widget?

If so, I’m afraid you won’t be able to remove the number of Likes from that widget. It’s added directly from Facebook, and Facebook doesn’t offer the option to remove the number of Likes.

Yes, that is the widget I am referring to.
That option used to be available in the FB Like Box widget… I am sure it was very recently that I saw it! 🙁

I’m afraid the Facebook Like Box didn’t include that option. It’s also going to disappear altogether soon, as Facebook decided to discontinue this widget:

We’ll update Jetpack to use the Page widget instead, as per Facebook recommendations:
