Facebook embeds not showing properly | WordPress.org

Hi, great plugin that works fantastic with everything – except Facebook posts which do not embed. Instead, it ends up showing the text of the post as if it were a blockquote with no image.

I have been adding the link to the post as a line by itself in the post. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you put the raw content of your post (via the Text tab in the content editor) in a pastebin.com link and drop it here? That will allow me to further troubleshoot on my end. Thanks!

Yep, looks like Facebook embeds aren’t working right now. My guess is that Facebook changed the way their embeds work, so the approach we were taking is no longer working.

I’m going to close this issue in favor of tracking it in our GitHub repository:
