No, Comments Box is currently enabled at the post type level. Many hooks beyond XFBML output.
Same, I don’t want the comment box on all my pages, just certain one. I’d think this is a reasonable request. Please let me know if there’s a plugin I can use, some css I can edit, etc – thanks!
