Facebook App Issues

I’m having trouble setting up Facebook social login. The Facebook button appears and works in opening the popup login window, but when I enter my Facebook login details the request fails.

Here’s the error I get after entering my Facebook login info into the popup window:

*Facebook SDK returned an error: Cross-site request forgery validation failed. Required param “state” missing from persistent data.*

Any ideas? All I could find online were solutions that required editing code. I’m trying to avoid that if possible.
