Hi there, I had this problem and I found this thread. I was using WordPress 3.1 and Awake theme by themeforest. I found another link that had the answer which helped me …

Hello J. Bear Savo, thanks for pointing this out.
It’s probably because inFocus is using a dated version of prettyPhoto and WordPress 3.1 updated jQuery to 1.4.4. Let’s try updating the prettyPhoto scripts to see if this solves it. (I forgot I already updated it on my testing machine)
1. Create a backup of your theme folder.
2. Download the latest version of prettyPhoto, http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/, make sure to select the “Production Version”.
3. Extract the files from the downloaded zip and copy the “prettyphoto” folder into /wp-content/themes/infocus/lib/scripts/ directory. You may have to rename the folder to “prettyPhoto”, in my case Windows 7 did it for me.
That should be it. Once updated you will also see a nice gallery type of effect when scrolling through your images. This may or may not be something you like but it seems to be required with prettyPhoto 3.0.1.
UPDATE – If anyone wishes to take this gallery effect off then see this thread, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/issues-after-upgrade-to-31?replies=6&message=update-support-forums-topic-status-error
We’ll make sure to include these fixes in our next update which is coming very soon. Let us know if that worked for you guys.
I apologize for the delayed thank you, but I wanted to say that I truly appreciate each of your efforts in this matter. I will look into this in the following days to see what was the final reasoning behind this bug!
