Hi @mansugi
Happy to help point you in the right direction. WooCommerce can add a handling charge on top of a shipping option, but the right steps depend on how your “USPS Ground” option is set up, so could you tell me which of these you have?
1. A shipping method you set up yourself under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping (for example a Flat Rate method named “USPS Ground”), or
2. A plugin that pulls live USPS rates at checkout (if so, which plugin?).
Here’s why it matters:
If it’s a Flat Rate method, you can build the handling amount right into the Cost field for that method. For example, enter 10 + 5 to add a $5 handling fee on top of a $10 base rate. Because that cost lives on the USPS Ground method itself, it only applies when a customer actually selects USPS Ground. You can see the Cost field options and formula examples here: https://woocommerce.com/document/flat-rate-shipping/
If your USPS Ground rates come from a live-rate plugin instead, the surcharge needs to be set within that plugin (or an add-on), since this isn’t something core WooCommerce controls. Let me know which plugin you’re using and I’ll point you to the right spot.
Once I know your setup, I can give you the exact steps.
