    Haven’t found any specific thread.

I’d like to incorporate Apple Pay via WooCommerce Payments and was wondering ..

    a) Is it possible to only enable Apple Pay additionally, no G Pay or other credit cards, so just the Apple Pay button on checkout page alongside my default wire transfer option?

    b) How does this work with WooCommerce’s required checkboxes and those added by 3rd party plugins? It is absolutely vital according to EU law, that the required checkboxes are ticked by the customer. Otherwise there is no contract.

What happens if a customer goes to Apple Pay without hitting the required checkboxes? Does payment go through? Is there a pop-up? There just has to be something, right? I know most webstore users have zero clue about legal stuff, also some big players. Or they don’t care. So is there a workaround for this, yes or no?

    Regards

  • Hi there @100lba

Kindly note that Express Checkouts are activated all at once, meaning that both Apple Pay / Google Pay will be enabled, instead of just one or the other.

Furthermore, as the name implies, they are express checkouts, therefore, when enabled and the user opts to click on a button made available by express checkout, the next step is to verify their identity, before completing the order.

I trust that clarifies things further, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.
