Hi,
Can you supply be a bit more detail about your setup? Are the wordpress versions the same?
Did you already have settings in the wamp server or was it a fresh install?

Hi Pascal,
Yes. I am using UniServz as my WAMP. This was a brand new install and so although I’m able to export, importing was an issue.
I’ve tried your plugin on a LIVE shared hosted environment for both import/export and it works fine, but not in a WAMP environment.

Hi,
Thanks for the input. I have not actually tested in a WAMP environment so it could very well be that it does not work. I’ll setup a WAMP environment and test it to see where it goes wrong.

I see why it is not working. Different types of path structures on Linux and Windows.
It will probably work for you in a LAMP environment (for instance a test box in vmware player or virtualbox) 🙂
I will have to check for a solution that works for both linux and windows.

I can make it work for Windows as well but I am wondering if I should. I like the current way it works better but I seem to hit a bug in an external library.
If there are more windows users that would hit this bug the case would be different but so far it’s only you 🙂

Hi Pascal,
Thanks for letting me know. My personal preference is to have everything ready offline and then transport everything over afterwards.
If I’m the only one then don’t worry about it. At least now you know there is a bug! 🙂
