• I’m trying to help a friend export a 1.2GB sql file from Godaddy’s unstable servers (their support is a disgrace and not helpful). He said export is max 1GB. I told him one table is 1.1GB by itself. He tells me “try anyway”. Clown.

The table that’s 1.1GB in size is wp_options

Can someone explain why it’s so large? The site itself is a small site running woocommerce and about 10 plugins, only about 40-50 products too.

The export option on their what appears to be an outdated, 10 year old version of phpmyadmin keeps cutting off at 100mb, 150mb, 300mb, etc and never completes.

EDIT: my friend did have Next Gen plugin but I see it is deactivated right now, so maybe this is the culprit? How would I greatly trim the table safely without affecting crucial data?
