Explanation needed

Hi,

I need some help regarding how scheduling works.

I have been trying to set a timeframe, for example letting it run every 1 minute.

I have set the “global” to “1 minute” and hit save. But after 1 minute, nothing happens.

There is also the cache option, which I don’t understand fully. The cache is from where? Source, or cache in my wordpress? What is the benefit of source vs cache?

What is the automatic/manual setting? Why does it only run the job when there is someone visiting my site, and not follow my custom time?

I also do not quite understand the cron job function. If I do not use that, does it follow the plugin custom setting?

Sorry if I have too many questions, but the options you have are just too confusing.
