  • Somehow it keeps switching to audio only which makes it impossible to follow along with the walk through.
    And then it asks me to upgrade. So much for it being free …

    Hi Stay-Cee,

    When a Walkthrough switches to audio only mode, that usually indicates either a conflict or a Walkthrough that is out of date. Would you mind sending us a note to support@sidekick.pro that includes the Walkthrough(s) you’re having trouble with?

    As far as the plugin being free goes. SIDEKICK provides 20 Walkthroughs along with access to any third party walkthroughs like WooCommerce free of charge. If you’d like to access our entire library of over 190 WordPress Basics Walkthroughs, the price is $60 per domain. This is all very clearly stated on our website and on our plugin page.

    When you say “It then asks you to upgrade” are you saying that you are getting a prompt forcing you to upgrade to use the plugin? (Of course you’re not because that’s not how we’ve built it). Or are you saying that there is an Upgrade button in the drawer and because you’re feeling like the plugin is buggy and all things should be free, you’re being taunted? If so, sorry about that, not our intention.

    I understand you’re frustrated however a quick email or posting in our support forum here could probably have cleared up your questions / issues rather than a 1 star rating. You’ll notice we respond very quickly to support issues.

    Please consider that the next time you are having trouble with a WordPress plugin before just slapping down a rating.
