Execute shortcodes in excerpts in WordPress 3.2

Hello Everybody,
I’m using WordPress 3.2 and JW-player plugin. No matter what I try or which plugin I use I just can’t seem to make the shortcodes execute in excerpts. No method described in forums actually works and the compatible plugins do not execute the code on this version. Thank you for all your help 🙂
