If you’ve never done any coding at all, start with some basic programming classes somewhere. It doesn’t matter what language, just as long as they can teach you about logic, code flow, syntax, etc.
After you get the hang of that, start off looking ath HTML, CSS And JavaScript (jQuery and React). Those are all needed before you start anything with WordPress.
After that, look into PHP. Spend some time getting to know ho wit works, what it does and how to write it properly.
When all that’s done, then start to look at WordPress. Get a couple of projects in your mind and see what you can do to work on those and make them happen.
Remember that it takes a lot more than a couple of online classes to be a good programmer! Don’t expect to be able to do much, or anything at all, in a month or two.
