Hi,

I want to show an email on a certain page without hiding it with your plugin.

I have tried to add a page to exclude exclusion and it still shows it hidden

I have also tried to ad an id=”exclude” but when I visit the page the email address is still hidden

I have a blur affect when the address is hidden but when I visit this specific page that has been excluded it defaults to **** for the hidden email instead of blur. If this helps at all.

At this time, it is not possible to add a specific page or contact to the exclusions. However, we are working on implementing this feature. We will provide an update within two weeks.

For now, we can only offer to completely disable the option and encode the necessary contacts using a shortcode. This guide will assist you: https://cleantalk.org/help/using-shortcodes-hooks-to-encode-contact-data.

thanks for your reply. But if this plugin doesn’t have this functionality than why did you add an option to do this in the plugin settings? That doesn’t make sense at all!

The exclusion feature is designed to exclude specific forms from spam checking. You can find more details regarding that here: https://cleantalk.org/help/exclusion-from-anti-spam-checking

However, we have prepared a special version of the plugin that allows you to exclude specific contact details from being encoded.

Please follow these steps:
1. Install the plugin using this archive: Download Special Version
2. Disable the option “Use the output buffer” in the plugin settings.
3. Wrap the email address you would like to exclude from encoding in the special shortcode: [apbct_skip_encoding]email_you_want_to_exclude@example.com[/apbct_skip_encoding]
Please let us know if this works.

I see there is an update to the plugin to version 6.74 does it include the dev feature you gave me?

Or should I stay with the version you provided?

Unfortunately, version 6.74 does not include fixes for your case.

Please do not update the plugin. The necessary changes will be included in version 6.75.
