    Hi guys,

Just a note that you may want to consider how you manage changes to the default exclusions. I have been using the plugin for years – with very old exclusions – and just encountered a few issues that could have been avoided had Autoptimize automatically updated the exclusions when it was updated. In particular, missing wp-includes/js/dist/ was causing i18n issues with WP 5.7 & WC 5.1.

    Cheers,
    Jason

Although I do make exceptions sometime (e.g. when jquery.js become jquery.min.js in WordPress core a couple of months ago) I typically don’t change live configurations Jason, the risk of things breaking is too big.

I suppose you’ve encountered said issue after updating Contact Form 7 as many have? :-/

Thanks for the reply. No, I don’t run that plugin, I believe updating WC or WP caused the issue as that’s all I’d done. It broke checkout and customers could not transact.

If you add new exclusions to the defaults it would be nice if they were added to existing configs.

    Cheers,
    Jason
