• Hi,

Great plugin! The only problem is that it caches everything. For my client it’s necessary to exclude some JS and cookies because of dynamic content in a popup. How can I exclude some files from caching?

It would be a great help when you can let me know how to do this.

    Many thanks!

  • There currently isn’t a way to exclude only certain parts of a page with Cache Enabler although we’re working towards implementing ways to help with that. However, if you’re comfortable in working with code, you may be able to use Cache Enabler’s bypass_filter to exclude the popup in question. Here is a thread discussing something similar: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/filters-bypass_cache-not-working/

Hi, thanks for your comment and so good to hear you’re working towards implementing ways to do this. Also, calendar plugins are a problem with caching, so it’s truly necessary.

Unfortunately, I’m not thát comfortable, I need to know the exact steps. I do not dare to risk messing up the site. 😉

So…I’ll wait for your update. (I would even pay for a great update for more custom settings when you decide to create a premium version.)

We can’t provide direct support for this as each setup is different and it isn’t a core feature of the Cache Enabler plugin. In that case, it may be worth finding a third-party developer to further investigate this for you or wait until more granularity is worked into Cache Enabler.
