Exclude Posts from a Particular Category

    There’s a lot of info on how to exlude a category from the index.php page, but how do you exclude the posts from a particular category on the main page, without excluding the category? Meaning, I want the category to show up on the main page, I just don’t want the post to show up on the main page.
    Any ideas?

    Slappo, all the instructions you must have read exclude the posts from a particular category from displaying on the main page. The category will still show in the list of categories in the menu, unless you change the way list_cats() or wp_list_cats() is used in the menu.
