If I use -CAT3+CAT1+CAT2 I only display posts from CAT3.
The exclusion of categories with – is not working at all, actually. Not with ids nor category names/slugs.
I’m looking into this, after some tests I’ve confirmed in some cases it does work and it doesn’t work in others.

Yes, please look into this? I have a client with complex relationships of categories and I have this string for my IDs: id=’18+33-39-35′ which shows those in both 18 and 33 but disregards the exclusion of 39 and 35.
Now on the flipside I have another page with id=’18+33+39-35′ which shows those in both 18 and 33 and 39 but still does not exclude those in 35.

I did just update the plugin and wordpress, but didn’t change the behaviors.
I fixed this for version 0.36. It works only when using id’s, not category names, but that may get fixed for a future version.
