    Every time I use Advanced Access Manager, I have a hard time believing it’s free.

    It has to be one of the most comprehensive plug-ins, and plug-in interfaces, I’ve come across. That’s coming from someone who’s been working with WordPress since before it was called by that name, and has worked with hundreds of plug-ins. AAM is truly exceptional.

    When it comes to fine tuning (like really finely) roles, capabilities, and access on WordPress, AAM rocks. Despite all the whining and whinging from a surprising number of 1-star reviewers (many of who seem to have simply failed to understand what they were getting into when messing around with a powerful plug-in like AAM), I’ve yet to encounter any issues at all with AAM.

    It’s rare I take the time to write reviews for WordPress plug-ins, but in this case I simply had to make an exception.

    Truly appreciate your kind words and I’m really glad that you found it useful. People like you motivates me to keep maintaining AAM.

    My main objective was always to give to the community something useful and it is not about making profit out of it. Indeed within last 12 months I’ve merged to AAM core (free version) 4 premium extensions and because you were so kind, I’m adding another extension Role Filter (https://aamplugin.com/extension/role-filter) to the upcoming AAM 5.0.

    Hey Vasyl,

    Thanks for taking the time to reply. I am sure you must be very busy.

    In terms of fulfilling what AAM is design to do, I really don’t think I can say enough good things about it. You’ve given it such a great and “live” interface (no “save” required at any time, it just happens the moment I click things on or off) that it actually makes many other plug-ins seem poorly presented (clunky) by comparison. I wish more plug-in developers would utilise some of the interface wizardry you have in AAM.

    How can I send you a small donation for your efforts? What’s the best way?

    You are right about being busy. November typically is the busiest month for me.
