Hands down the most simple yet robust solution I’ve seen. My buddy asked if I could help help him out moving a couple sites to a new host cause he was short on time. My previous goto which shall remain unnamed was fine to let me backup ‘to file’. While it was never a premium feature to throw it on the cloud but now was I thought…meh whatever I can suffer a few GB download/upload to just get it done. I go to import it to the new installs, DNS already changed mind you, it failed for all kinds of reasons, couldn’t up it through the plugin file manager some bogus server limitation warning, no option to read it from file structure on the server itself…nothing. I had to switch DNS back real quick. Bad Bad plugin which shall not be named.
Enter UpdraftPlus. After mucking around for hours of downloads and uploads with the nameless plugin, Updraft literally handled it in less than an hour each to the cloud (gdrive in my case) for free, back to the stage. Ya’ll be gettin your donation.
