When using the “Subscribe via Google” function only some events (categories?) are exported.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Right click the “Subscribe via Google” link and select “Copy Link”
    2. Open your google calendar, create a new “Other calendars” from URL
    3. Only about half of the events in My Calendar appears in Google calendar.

Is this because I don’t have the Pro version?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The subscription links show the most recently added events; it’s not an export of the items in the calendar, but a subscription so that users can get events you add to your calendar added to their calendar.

Thank you for a fast reply. Impressive support

Understood. Don’t understand why it includes a few items and not all, or none for that matter. Now it’s “subscribe with an export sample”.

    My workaround might be:

    • “Export” from my calendar. Import into a new google calendar.
    • “Subscribe” from my calendar to a new google “Other calendar”
    • Remove any duplicates (from the events included in the subscription) from the google calendar
    • Show both calendars with same color

Not sure my users are capable to do this. We’ll see 🙂

You can create totally custom export links using the API, as well, if you want to go that route: https://docs.joedolson.com/my-calendar/my-calendar-api/

Those links won’t have the refresh cues that tell subscriptions to re-check for more events, but they can contain whatever you want them to.

I’ll have a go with the API. Thanks
