Events in column format. Expire?

In need of the ability to display running events in a column format on a page. In addition the event should expire once it has occurred.
The layout is straight forward:

Column Column2 Column3
Event1 Event2 Event3

I have it this way on a site now except I’m using text and nothing expires so when a new event needs to be added I have to change the entire page. In this solution the hope is that events are sorted by date so when “the client” decides to add or remove an event adjustments are made automatically.

Can this be done using your Events Manager plugin?
