Hi – though I had some issues last week after the update release messing up my database – all in all I am happy with this plug-in. Thanks for a great product.

One little thing that bugs me: the layout of my events on the back-end is, for lack of a better word, weird. The titles of my events are listed vertically. It’s not horrible, just really annoying!

Has anyone else had this display issue and what can I do to fix it? The front end works beautifully – and adding new events is fine too….so what gives?

  • Surely this dashboard break is by mistake, but Modern Tribe created another plugin called Advanced Post Manager that fixes this issue. Here is the link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-post-manager/

We have noticed the backend messes up on all of our TEC Pro installs, but not installs with the free version. Installing the plugin fixed this on all of our sites.

    Hope that helps.

That’s great – but I am not a developer. I have, as you advised, downloaded and installed the plug-in above, but don’t understand what to do with it next. There is very little information to give me direction.

    ???

    Howdy Janice_D,

it sounds like you probably have too many columns in the backend, and your browser’s screen is not wide enough to accomodate all of them. WordPress’s Admin CSS does funky things with post/event titles when that happens. You should disable some columns to fix this. When you are viewing the backend list, click Screen Options in the upper right. Hide whichever columns you can.

byronj’s suggestion is a great one, but it only works out of the box for Events Calendar PRO users. For the free core plugin, Advanced Post Manager is not pre-configured and will require some dev experience to get integrated.

    Cheers!

Thank you, @brook! I removed some columns and voila! Backend looks awesome again.

I knew it would be something super simple like that… 🙂
