Sorry for the issues you are having. We can help troubleshoot this with you.
We have tested in 4.5 and not able to replicate the issue you are having.
Can you confirm you have the latest version of the Events Calendar (4.1.2)
Also, what was the specific error you were getting?
If you are not sure you can setup WordPress Debug to see what errors are showing when you try to recreate the issue and find them in this file: /wp-content/debug.log
Let us know and we can go from here.

The sequence of events was this..yesterday site with plugin working fine. Today upgraded to WP 4.5 which i did http://prntscr.com/arnmoi then after i received fatel error http://prntscr.com/arnndx
In order to remove the error i renamed the plugin in cpanel but the dashboard is asking me to upgrade http://prntscr.com/arqk16. If i do this i get same fatel error

Hi,
That Fatal Error is coming from WP Booking Calendar.
Are you able to contact their support to resolve this?
I am also having an issue with this plug-in and WordPress 4.5. The calendar is now not showing on my site since upgrading.

Are you getting white screens, 404 error messages? Or any other information that can help narrow this down.

On another site, after upgrading to WP 4.5, the calendar plugin has quit working altogether. It is tied to the /events page but displays absolutely nothing.
I tried to go in and save the settings again, but no change. We deleted the plugin completely, then re-installed and this made no change at all.

No error messages, just the calendar doesn’t display, period.

So it looks like you are getting a fatal error.
Please setup WordPress Debug to see what errors are showing when you try to recreate the issue a couple times in this file: /wp-content/debug.log

I will open a new thread, but fwiw…no errors are showing up.
