Having a similar problem with multi-day events on our site. On the calendar view they only show up on the first day, following days do not show up.
Unfortunately the 3.0 upgrade has severely broken the calendar on our site. We’ve been using it for 2 years but will have to rollback to the previous version or look at other options.
I think you’re seeing two different bugs. One bug is that events with a start date that have already passed no longer show. The other bug is that multi-day events only show on the first day in the calendar. We have posts about both of those issues:
here
and
here
I thanks for your responses. Sadly neither of those two links have any fixes yet but they are exactly the same problem I’m having.
Seems like a temporary fix is to roll back to a previous version? How do I get an earlier version as the latest one is the first time I’ve used it?
Hi all,
Sorry about the issues. We have verified a bug here and will be fixing this in a future release ASAP. In the mean time, please apply the fix provided by mdd061000 & Ned Zimmerman here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/multi-day-events-only-shown-on-first-day
Thanks,
Jonah
Thanks, this has fixed it for events that span within a month but still not working for events that span across more than one month. I’ve managed a work around but thought you should know.
thanks again,
Natalie
Thanks Natalie. We’ve spent the past 24 hours testing this under a number of situations, and have declared the fix ready for release. It’ll be out as soon as we finish QAing and packaging it up.
To verify your issue, I just tested an event in month view that started on the 31st of one month and spanned to the 1st of a second month. In list view, it shows as an event on the 31st that extends into the 1st (but doesn’t include a second entry on the first). Is that in line with what you’re expecting from its behavior, or have I misunderstood? Please let me know so I can check on this and log a new issue as needed.
Hi, yes that sounds right. I can’t see the posting in list view for the second month.
