From the changelog:
* Better slug for events and locations (permalinks now without the event or location id). The new slug for an event will be used after you edit the event.
==> this change was released on 2018/12/08 (version 2.0.69), so 6 months ago.
Hi Franky,
Tks for the clarification.
The strange thing is that this error in loading didn’t appear until yesterday.
Additionally, whether I use the new slug address or not, I can’t load the event page without the same error.
Tks in advance,
Darren

If that’s the case, your SEO permalinks need to be reset. Go in the general wordpress settings for permalinks and press “save”. That should be sufficient.
Hi Franky,
Thanks for the suggestion. I went to that General permalink setting and pressed save, but there’s no difference in the error msg displaying.
Do I have to try changing the Permalink format to something else and then back to the current, preferred setting for the event URLs to display the relevant content? Before I make changes to the Permalink format, I’m cautious as I wouldn’t want to change any non-event existing pages on their URL structure.
Cheers,
Darren

You can try that, shouldn’t hurt.
Also, check that the eme setting concerning the special events page is set and points to a valid WordPress page.
Tks for the quick reply Franky.
Turns out that after I had saved (the original Permalink structure setting), all event pages were loading fine w/ the original Permalink structure (w/ the event ID embedded within the URL).
Much appreciated for all your help and for a great plugin!

The original permalink structure for events (with the id embedded) is indeed still supported (just not advertised anymore).
