Thanks for your inquiry.
The chronological ordering you talk about is for comments, for event ordering, please enter Events > event ordering
Here you can select whether the product should order the events based on event posting date or event date.

Thanks for the reply. I do have the setting set to event ordering, but for some reason, it is in reverse order (which is the way I entered them). I have tried to change to date posted and then back to the event order, but that has not helped. Also, I have the Show Only Upcoming Events setting set to yes, but past events are still appearing.

@alexdex, did you make sure to set Event Ordering to Event Date and Show only upcoming events to Yes?

I am sure, I put event date and I select only upcoming events, I see a reverse chronological order

Seems like there is a problem in the plugin regarding this. Our development team is working to include this in the next update of Facebook Feed WD.
Would you mind waiting a little until this version comes out? You can keep track of the development changes with the changelog of the plugin.

How about a toggle switch for the order you want to display?

The new version is already in final testing phase. It will be released in a couple of days.

The update were event ordering is fixed and is chronological, is already available. Please install version 1.0.21/5.0.21, and configure Event Order Direction setting.
It can be found on Events tab of your feeds.
