Update: I have now logged in under both Google accounts (the original calendar “owner”, and the account the calendar has been shared with and given admin rights to). I DO see all events now when I login as each user so they are synching up after all.
But I’m still not seeing them jibe with my website. I have refreshed the cache and feeds, but they are still not showing many of my events, only some are showing up:
http://hotyogakc.com/schedule/
For example, I should have 6 classes showing up on Mondays, but the rollover calendar is only showing 3. I can see all 6 events correctly showing when I login to Google under both accounts, so can’t figure out why the plugin can’t see them?
Thanks!
I just tested to see if it was just grid view or if it was also happening in list view, and it is. Even in list view, only 3 events are showing up on Mondays instead of all 6.
Since the calendar wasn’t working, I had to turn it off so you can’t see it if you go there now. But I’d still like to find out how to resolve this issue so I can turn them back on. Again, the feeds are not displaying all events that are on my Google calendar, only *some* of them.
-thanks!
What did you have in your feed settings? Especially Number of events per page?
Can you make a test page showing your unsatisfactory results? You could exclude it from the menu with a plugin.
Here is a test page:
http://hotyogakc.com/test/
Feed settings:
-My Google calendar ID
-Expand Recurring Events is checked
-Cache Duration is 43200
-Multiple Day Events is checked to show on each day
-Display Mode is Grid
-Checked to display Next and Back links
-Number of Events per Page is 7 Days (we don’t have more than 7 classes in a day)
-Offset is 0 Days
-Minimum Feed Start Date is 1 Month back
-Maximum Feed End Date is 2 Years forward
Here is my event builder code:
[event-title]
Starts: [start-time]
This problem is happening in my daily events calendar too, which uses list view, and when I use the Google Calendar Events widget.
Also, this update wrecked my CSS, not sure where the yellow box and border outline came from on hover?
Thanks for looking!
Here are some ideas, no guarantees.
Number of events per page: 7 Events
CSS:
.qtip-default { background-color: white; border: 0; }
.gce-event-info { border: 0; }
You might need to put in some !importants to make these rules stick, I was only playing around in firebug, so I’m not sure.
Just looked at your site and looks like this is resolved now?
Thanks, All. Got the CSS to cooperate now.
But all of my events are still not displaying.
Here is the test page:
http://hotyogakc.com/test/
And here is a typed out list showing our daily schedule:
http://hotyogakc.com/schedule/
If you are on the test page and you hover over a Tuesday, for example, 6 classes should be showing up, at 6:15, 9:00, 11:30, 4:30, 5:15, 6:30.
But only 9:00, 11:30, 5:15, 6:30 show up.
When I go view my calendar through Google, I can see they are all on there, and they aren’t set to private or anything. So it’s only showing some events. I’d be happy to share a screenshot if I knew how. Here is a link to it on Google, if that works: https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=bkmmrmro428iei3ltlatgc5mg4%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/Chicago
Thanks.
@wigglepit,
Thanks for sharing all the extra info. I will look into this further and let you know if I can determine what is going on.
Thanks!
Did anything change with this after the 2.1.7 release?
No, still not showing all of the classes You can see by looking at the test page above. Compare a Monday, for example. Only some of the classes are showing up when you rollover the day on the calendar.
Have you already tried disabling other plugins and using a default theme just to make sure there are no conflicts there?
Just want to be thorough here so we can really narrow it down and figure out what is happening.
Thanks!
Yes, I only have 3 other plugins aside from this one and I disabled all of them, cleared the calendar cache again, and went to the the test page, but there are still events missing.
Thanks

What calendar are you grabbing the ID from, the “owner” calendar or the shared one?
I looked at both, and they are identical. So I guess it doesn’t matter which one.
