    Hi there,

I just upgraded events made easy (quite a big upgrade, from 2.1.27, but we were restricted as to when we could upgrade to WP5).

The previous behaviour was that on our events list page, an event would drop off the list 24 hours before it was scheduled to run. (we don’t want any bookings with a 24 hour time period).

Now, the event stays on the list past this time, although instead of the form there is a message that bookings are no longer allowed.

I have not changed any settings.

Can you please advise if this is a change in behaviour or if I am missing a setting somewhere? I would prefer that the event is not shown on the event listings page from 24 hours before.

    Thanks!

    Sharon

You can set per event the cut-off time for RSVP, by default that is until the event starts (maybe that was different in the past).
If you want to hide events that are no longer rsvp-able, check the EME option “Hide RSVP ended events?”

    Hi Franky,

Thanks for your swift reply. I have these settings in the main RSPV settings:

    – By default allow RSVP until this many 0 days 24 hours before the event starts
    – Hide RSVP ended events? Yes

I have tried toggling the second option off and then saving and then on again with no change. The event is still listed in the events page within 24 hours of the start time.

    Thanks,

    Sharon

Indeed, I checked the code and there seems to be a small logic error in there.
Can you try if this small changeset solves it for you (moving 3 lines a bit higher up in the code)?

Sine the bugfix will solve this problem, I’ll mark this as resolved.

    Thanks Franky, much appreciated 🙂

(sorry only just getting a chance to test that now)

Hi Franky – on testing: It seemed to work, although then I could no longer see the events listed in the dashboard, the events list was empty. On reverting the code back, the events have reappeared.

You’re totally correct, due to this fix another oversight popped up!
This should fix the extra problem:
