Event List not working

I was having a weird problem when upgrading your plugin.

the events stopped showing up in the event list, even if I created a new one.

So I did some testing. I downloaded a fresh wp v3.6, installed the newest version of the plugin and it was doing the same thing.

The event’s there because I can view it on the site, and I can see the location list. it just seems like it’s not pulling into the events list.

I looked at this (When I add an event, it doesn’t show up in the events list!) and neither was the problem.

Any help on this front?

can I know what is your previous EM version? also, how about trying to deactivate and re-activating EM again and is this using the event list shortcode or default event listing in the frontend?

Sorry I forgot to specify which event list. The ‘event list’ I am talking about is the admin view. when I click the ‘Events’ tab nothing is there.

I upgraded from the previous version.

Hiya,

Do you have any issues viewing posts or pages in the dashboard as well?

Are the events showing up fine on the front end?

Also, can you look at the screen options tab (top right) on the events page and check that the number of events to show is not zero?

Yep, no events are showing up in the admin anywhere. I can see that the data is stored in the DB, but it’s not hooking to the admin view.

The front end is working, I can view the event, paginate between the events, but when I try to see the list in the admin view, there are no events.

‘screen options’ shows 20 for number of events.

Are you saying you’re trying this on a frech version of WP with no other plugins or themes installed? If not, please try to test this with just EM and the default WP theme activated temporarily.

Also, could it be that your admin permissions aren’t right? See in Settings > General > User Capabilities
